A few days ago, I got the news: I’m now an official n8n Ambassador for Indonesia.

This one’s personal. n8n has genuinely been a turning point in my career, and I want to share the full story of how I got here.

How it started

I first heard about n8n through a post by @jipraks on Threads (thank you, sir!). This was right around the time n8n was starting to blow up.

Back then, I was just tinkering with it to automate some repetitive tasks at my day job. Nothing fancy, just trying to make my own life easier. But it worked really well, so I started sharing some of my workflows on n8n’s creator platform.

Fast forward to today, I’ve published 50+ workflows there.

Where it led

I didn’t expect this at all, but people slowly started noticing. The first person who ever reached out to me was Jonathan Cortes, owner of an animation studio in Madrid, Spain.

He’s an incredibly kind person, well-respected in his industry back home, and he gave me a shoutout at a time when I was still a total newcomer to automation. That single shoutout opened up a surprising number of opportunities from Spain. And honestly, we’re still in touch. We were literally talking about an ongoing project together just yesterday evening. Alhamdulillah.

A few other inbound opportunities came from that same creator page too, and two of those collaborations are still active today.

Looking back, I’ve gotten so much more out of learning n8n than I ever expected.

Why “Ambassador” matters to me

That’s exactly why I felt like it was time to give back to the community.

My hope with this role is simple: with direct support from the n8n team, I want to run events that help more people discover this tool, and more importantly, actually experience the benefits it can bring, the same way I did.

If even a fraction of what happened to me can happen to someone else, that’s already a win for the community.

What’s next

So, stay tuned. There’s an event coming up soon, and I’ll be sharing details shortly. Keep an eye out!
