FAQ
Common questions
Is MyInvois mandatory for my turnover?
Phase 3 (RM5-25M) has been live since 1 Jul 2025. Phase 4 (up to RM5M) starts 1 Jan 2026 but penalties only begin 1 Jan 2028 — that grace window is exactly when API integration should be built. Under RM1M is currently exempt.
Can I keep using the free generator after automation?
Yes. Many clients use the public generator for ad-hoc invoices while bulk/system invoices flow through the automated pipeline. Both coexist fine.
Will you host n8n and charge me monthly access?
No. We build on your VPS and hand over workflow files. You pay your hosting provider directly. Selling hosted n8n access isn't allowed under n8n's Sustainable Use License — and you shouldn't want your invoicing locked to someone else's platform anyway.
What if LHDN changes the field spec?
Workflows are modular — the field mapping sits in one node. Guideline updates (v4.7+) are small patches, not rebuilds.
